Calvene Marie Callaghan, age 71, of Westerville. Passed away peacefully January 24, 2012. Born June 21, 1940 in Crete, Illinois. 1958 graduate of Crete Monee High School. Calvene was an avid gardner and loved to fish; other hobbies included bird watching, crocheting, bowling and cooking. Preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Howard. Survived by her 4 daughters, Lisa (Joe) Horvath, Kristine Anthony, Merri (Jeff) Waters and Susan (Jeff) Ehlers; seven grandchildren along with cherished nieces, nephews and other family members. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville,Ohio Friday 3-5 p.m. followed by a service at 5 p.m., Dr. David Hogg, officiating.
