C. Richard Meyers, Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Sept 9, 2017. Retired Army Veteran, Resident of Hazel Crest, Formerly of Park Forest; Beloved Husband of the late Thais M. Meyers nee Livingston;

Loving Father of Thomas (Deborah) Meyers, Sally (William)Doerr, Suzanne (Duane) Van Slyke, Lori (Matthew) Allison; Cherished Grandfather of Abby and Sydney Meyers; Benjamin, Daniel, and Peter Doerr; Mariah Van Slyke; Sophia, Xander, and Kevin Allison; Dear Brother of Norma Meyers. C. Richard was a teacher for over 36years with the Park Forest Public Schools District 163.

Visitation Tuesday 4 p.m.-7 p.m. with a Funeral Service 6:30 p.m. at The Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home 50 Westwood Dr., Park Forest , Interment private
