Barbara Elizabeth Brown, nee Morgan, 84, July 21, 2009, Park Forest, IL. Beloved wife of Robert; loving mother of Robert (Jill) Brown Jr., Deborah Paque and Marcia (Al) Murray; cherished grandmother of Christopher, Stephanie, Adam, and Lorelei and great-grandmother of Bryson and Isabella; preceded in death by her sister Lillian Swift of Gloucester, MA; survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara was born April 8, 1925 to Ethel and Harold Morgan at home in Gloucester, MA. During high school she was active in Rainbow Girls. She graduated from Gloucester Mass., Class of 43 and married Robert Allen Brown August 1, 1948. Barbara was an active member and elder of Calvary United Protestant Church for 43 years. She worked at the Park Forest Public Library for more than 25 years. The family will receive friends at Calvary United Protestant Church, 425 N. Orchard Dr., Park Forest, IL 60466, on Saturday, August 1st from 1 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Rev. Dudley Elvery, officiating.
