Marvin E. "Jake" Hager, 78, passed away at home with his "boots" on, February 1, 2011. Resident of Crete, IL., previously of Richton Park, IL. Beloved husband of the late Kim nee Thule; loving father of: Robbin (late Pat) Miles, Marvin David (Sharon) Hager, Timothy (Ginny) Hager, Candy (Tim) Bennett, and the late Brian Hager; cherished grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 7; dear brother of 6. Marvin was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and was like a father to many. Mr. Hager was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
