Obituary

Rena R. Campe, nee McClusky, 97, born in Chicago April 2, 1912, a resident of Matteson, IL. She attended Mount St. Marys Academy where she became a Nun, was sent to Detroit area schools until illness removed her from the Sisterhood. She later met Harold Campe, was married and moved to Richton Park where she was an active member of the PTA as well as the Fire Department Auxiliary. She was preceeded in death by her husband Harold and their son James. She was mother to Joel (Debra) Campe and Jane (Charles) Metzger; Grandmother of 8; great Grandmother of 17 and great-great Grandmother of 2. She also leaves her close friend and caregiver, Jean Haskell. She was a member of Lincolnshire Country Club for 29 years and had a hole-in-one at age 80. Resting at the new Hirsch West End Funeral Home, 3501 W. Lincoln Hwy., Matteson, IL where friends may call on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, chapel prayers at 9 a.m. Mass at St. Lawrence OToole, Matteson, at 10 a.m. Entombment at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood Service Information Cemetery Assumption Cemetery 19500 Cottage Grove Glenwood, IL 60425 --> Visitation Friday March 19, 2010 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Hirsch West End Chapel 50 Westwood Drive Park Forest, IL 60466 -->
