A. Branch Compton, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2015. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Graefnitz Compton. He is survived by his three children, Connie, Alan (Debbie) and Charles (Sherry) Compton; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Branch retired from Moody Bible Institute after many years of service. Branch enjoyed walking, fishing and woodworking, but what he loved most was spending time with his grandkids and family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 9:30 am at Heritage Baptist Church (21739 S. LaGrange Road, Frankfort, IL 60423) with a funeral service beginning at 11 am. Interment will follow at Skyline Memorial in Monee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
