(Adrian) Beverly; cherished grandmother of Phillip Beverly, Karyn Marshall (Bart Darress) and Robert T. Marshall III; dearest great-grandmother of Dana and Kira Beverly; dear sister of the late Sophronia Banks, Lucellia (the late Theodore) Palo and Jacob (the late Jean) Thompson; kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Artas rich professional life was spent with the Chicago Public Schools beginning as a library clerk and working her way up to teacher-librarian, completing her Bachelor of Arts degree along the way.
