Carmelita Mae Arnold passed away on August 20, 2021. Daughter of Albert Oneroad and Alice Wellington Oneroad was born in Greenwood, South Dakota. Both of her parents and older sisters, Margaret and Marcella, passed before her. She is survived by her sons Cameron, Christopher (spouse Katie Angsten-Arnold), and Rob (spouse Lisa Sprigler Condon); niece Felicia; grandchildren: Piper, Zach, Sean, and Taylor. Carmelita was a Registered Nurse and retired Uro Partner (Northwestern Hospital) in 2011, after working with them for 18 years. She was hard-working, thoughtful, intelligent, and stoically hid her heart of gold. Carmelita may seem unassuming, but she touched and saved many lives. Through her retirement, she enjoyed shopping at Thrift stores, crafting, and volunteering. Donations may be made in her name to the American Indian Center (Chicago): 3401 W. Ainslie Street, Chicago, Illinois 60625
