Cathleen Hummel of Park Forest, Illinois, grew up in Crete, graduated from Crete-Monee High School, Governor's State University, and Roosevelt University Paralegal Studies Program. Among other accomplishments, Cathleen worked as a real estate paralegal for Wischhover & Associates of Palos Heights, IL for more than 15 years. Cathleen is survived by two sisters, Loretta of St. John and Donna of Crete, and a nephew, Joshua Catlow, her maternal aunt Claudia Franz, as well as other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ronald P. Hummel and Juanita ("Vonnie"), and by her brother Ronald. Cathleen is missed by her close family and friends, as well as her many friends at the Park Forest Aqua Center and co-workers at Wischhover & Associates. Per Cathleen, her earthly remains will be cremated. A private remembrance will be scheduled at a later date.
