Colleen E. Larson, 90 of Park Forest passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. She was born on June 26, 1927 in Independence, Wisconsin; a daughter of Albert D. and Myrtle E. (Klick) Bautch. Colleen earned her degree in Education at University Of Wisconsin- Madison and went on to earn her Master Degree in Early Childhood Education from Governors State University. She was a Kindergarten teacher for over 40 years. Her passions included traveling, teaching, music, singing, her many pets and her family and grandchildren. Colleen was a charter member of the Park Forest Singers, now known as the Grand Prairie Choral Singers. Her family members include her children: Eric (Mary) Larson of Seattle, Lynn (George) Stevenson of Park Forest and Carrie (James) Frost of Harlingen, Texas; her grandchildren: Malinda, Benjamin, Nathan, Jessica, Brandi, Thomas, Nicolette and Courtney. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years: Edward Larson; her sister: Alberta and her niece: Patty.
