D. Jane (Batts) Rosen, born in Mount Vernon, IL, 1918, passed away on August 3, 2010 at Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Beecher, IL. She was 91. She was preceded in death by her parents James Walter and Elma (Lager) Batts, husband Allen, son Robert, sister Reba (Batts) Gonzalez and brother James Robert (Bud) Batts. She is survived by two daughters Susan Shepherd of Kansas City, and Jeannetta (Jeannie) Rosen of Park Forest, one son, William (Bill) Rosen of Tinley Park, IL, graddaugter Jennifer (Rosen) Sharp of Crest Hill, IL, grandson David Shepherd of Missouri, sister Evelyn Batts, brother Ralph (Tom) Batts and many nephews and nieces. Private inurnment at Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery, Benton, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
