Denise Ann Gehrt, 69, of Park Forest, passed away Thursday May 20, 2021. She was born October 2, 1951 in Maywood, IL, daughter of James and Virginia (Grupe) Dwyer. Denise was a Registered Nurse in the O.B./Special Care Nursery for 45years, working at several hospitals including Palos Hospital, Silver Cross Hospital and Ingalls Hospital. Denise enjoyed playing cards, boating, traveling but most of all spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gary, 2 sons, Jason (Crystal) and Nicholas (Amy), 2 brothers; Tom Dwyer, James Dwyer and a sister Micki Ingerly and 4 grandchildren; Kaleb, Noah, Oliver and Elizabeth. Denise is preceded by her parents, a sister Lynda Pierce, a brother Lee Yunkers, and a nephew Alex Ingerly.
