Elizabeth "Liz" Wilson, age 93, longtime resident of Richton Park, most recently of Mokena passed away peacefully January 11. Beloved wife of Donald Crowley for 24 years until his death and beloved wife of Leonard Wilson for five years until his death. Liz was the loving mother of Cheryl Marquardt (Jerald) and Lucinda Derry (Mark) and Stepmother to John Wilson (Lynnley), Janet Woods (David), Joyce Kolavo (Tom), Jeff Wilson (Debbie) and Jane Bunnell (Dave). Liz was the grandmother and Great Grandmother to many beloved children. Liz was a third-grade teacher in Steger, Illinois, for many years. She was an active member of Deer Creek Christian Church and long-time board member of Deer Creek Christian School. She served faithfully in the food pantry at Deer Creek and missions here as well as in Zimbabwe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reclaim13 (reclaim13.org/donate) would be appreciated.
