Gary Gehrt, 73, primarily of Crete and Park Forest but recently residing in Beecher, passed away on November 24, 2023in Orland Park, IL. Gary, was born in Chicago to Erving and Marie Gehrt on January 22, 1950. He went to school at Crete-Monee High School. He married Denise Gehrt on February 10, 1973 in Palos, Illinois at the Wayside Chapel. He worked as an electrician for his own company for 20 years. Gary, is preceded in death by his loving wife Denise, his brother Larry and both parents. Gary is survived by his sons Jason and Nicholas and their wives Crystal and Amy; his sisters Terry and Tammy; his grandchildren Kaleb, Noah, Oliver and Elizabeth.
