Geraldine M. (nee Hank) Von Berge, 92, of Matteson, late of Joliet, at rest Sunday, July 3, 2016. Gerry is survived by her brother, William Hank, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer L. VonBerge; parents, William J. Hank and Margaret (nee Nichols) Hank; siblings, Richard L. Hank, Audrey Hank, Norman F. Hank, and Wesley W. Hank. The family extends their thanks to Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, and Vitas Healthcare for caring for Gerry in her final stages. Cremation rites were accorded. A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Hirsch West End Funeral Home, 3501 W. Lincoln Hwy., Matteson. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:30a.m. with the Rev. Bryan Reeves of Zion Lutheran Church, Matteson, officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
