Harold W. Kummelehne age 61 years, lifelong resident of Matteson, IL Beloved husband of Debbie nee Matz, Loving Father of Jason (Allessandra), Jeff (Katrina), and Sarah Kummelehne (James Strappazon); Dearest Grandpa of MacKenzie, Levi, and Lexie Kummelehne; Dearest Brother of Carol (John) Ranieri, Susan (Robert) Scharnhorst, Sharon (the late Steve) Arendt, Sondra (Daniel)Apgar, Sonia Tarpley and the late Shirlene Caspers; Kind Uncle of many nieces and nephews; Cherished Friend to many. Harold devoted more than 39 years to the fire service. Harold is an icon in the local fire service ranks, both as a Fire Apparatus Engineer (FAE) instructor and a Fire Certification Specialist II with the Illinois State Fire Marshal. He was a founding member of Local 3086 and currently holds President Emeritus status. He served as a mentor to many and was always there to help.
