Irene A. Taranda (nee Stankus) age 91, late of Peace Village, Palos Park, IL a long time resident of Frankfort, IL passed away peacefully on August 4, 2018. Irene was a business owner, avid animal lover, but her family was most important to her. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; parents Charles and Sophie; sons David, Howard and Richard Jr. She is survived by her sons Ronald and Timothy; daughter in-laws Barbara and Linda; grandchildren Ricky, Dustin, David and Courtney; great grandchildren Marek, Makenna and Sadie. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at Hirsch West End Chapel, 3501 Lincoln Highway, Matteson, IL.
