James was born in Camden, MS to Isabella Chambers. He married Donna Dettbarn on November 28, 1996 in Las Vegas, NV. He retired July 31, 2018 after 30 years as a machinist at Yoshino America in University Park. He was preceded in death by his Mother Isabella, his brother Roosevelt Harris, his sister Catherine Chambers and niece Diane Chambers. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Donna, sisters Thelma Washington and Alice Chambers, brothers L.C. Chambers and Eugene Chambers, Donnas children Jodi, Janine and Rob and cousins Patricia and Charles Banks along with other relatives and friends and countless others whose lives he touched.
