Hoelscher -James F., 71, an outgoing, vibrant and optimistic man whose death was 'unauthorized'. Born in Dayton, OH. Raised in Peoria, IL. Resident of Olympia Fields, IL and Jacksboro, TN. Husband of Jean Zalesny. Father of Michael Hoelscher and Melissa (Shad) Wood. Grandfather of Keifer (fiancee Lindsey), Caleb, Daniel and Carden. Great-Grandfather of Elena. Brother of Karen (Richard) Andre, John (Victoria) Hoelscher and Joseph (Debra) Hoelscher. Brother-In-Law of Rosemarie (Augustine) Rodriguez. Uncle and Great-Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Eillene M. Hoelscher and his father Francis (known as Pete) X. Hoelscher. Jim earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Organization and Management in 2010. MBA Northern Illinois University 1998. BBA Northwood University 1995. HS Spaulding Institute Peoria IL 1962. He was an assistant professor of business for Lincoln Memorial University in TN. He taught on-line for Walden University where he was also a student furthering his own education in business. His civilian career included many years in the finance/mortgage industry. Jim's military career spanned 40 years with service in the Air Force, Navy Reserve and Army Reserve. Jim could normally be found with a beer, hammer, screwdriver, tape measure, computer, book, phone, fork or TV remote in his hands. He will be greatly missed.
