Janice Williams Ramirez was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by kindness, compassion, and a genuine concern for others. She was born on November 10, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to her mother Ruth Jane Bernard and father Robert M. Williams. Janice attended Cooley High and Loop College.

Janice enjoyed good, meaningful conversations, decorating her home and other people’s homes, spending time with family, dressing in fashion, caring for animals, laughing and joking.

Janice was peacefully called home on October 16, 2026 at Little Company of Mary Hospital. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Frank; her son, Alan; her granddaughter, Ajanel; and her great-granddaughter, Alana. She is also remembered by her sisters, Lucy, Velma and Joanne.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Jane Bernard and Robert Williams, Sr., her sister Shirley Davis, two brothers Robert Williams, Jr. and Thomas Bernard and her niece Lakesha Gleeson.
