Jean E. Lofu, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Tony Lofu; son, Michael (Sue) Lofu; daughter, Julia Lofu; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Jean had many interests and hobbies throughout her life. She loved antiques, gardening, sewing, making pottery and taking care of animals. What Jean loved most though was surrounding herself with her family. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 12:30pm at St. Mary Catholic Church (227 Monee Rd, Park Forest, IL 60466). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels or the South Suburban Humane Society. Funeral arrangements made under the direction of Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home.
