Jerri Lynn Blount, 59, of Chicago IL passed away on January 3rd, 2024 in Palos Heights IL. Jerri was born in Chicago, IL to Laura Bell & Hubert Blount on June 17th ,1964. She married Eric Pate Sr in March of 1985 in Chicago IL. An alumni of Fenger High School in Chicago, Jerri also graduated from Northwestern University. She continued her professional career with WJYS where she specialized in Broadcast Television for over 10 years. Jerri was a recipient of multiple awards during her career in Media Production. Jerri Lynn Blount is preceded in death by Joshua Blount (son), Jackie Davis (sister) Lashonda Bell (sister), and Eric Pate, Sr. (father of her two children). Jerri Lynn Blount is survived by Eric Pate Jr (son), Debra Bell (sister), James Bell (Brother), Cheryl Caspi (sister ), Laura Bell (Mother ), Harold Thomas (Brother), Christian Blount (grandson), Khloe Blount (granddaughter ) , Eric Pate III (grandson), Isaiah Pate (grandson), and Karma Pate (grandson).
