John "Jack" A. Flahive, 73, passed away June 27, 2021 at Rush Medical Center in Chicago. Jack was born February 14, 1948 in Chicago Heights, IL; son of David and Louella (Ralls) Flahive. Jack was one the founders of S.I.S Inventory which was established in 1986. Jack enjoyed collecting, selling and trading cars for many years but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 49 years; Pat, a son Adam (Kimberly) and a daughter Jenna (Kevin) Burian. Proud grandpa of 6 grandchildren; Ethan, Kieran, Norah, Kendall, Nate and Ava. 3 sisters; Lee (Sherman) Propes, Sue Gaines (Steve Culpepper) and Trudie (Johnny) Hughes. 3 brothers; Chuck (Rhonda), Bart and Dale (Beth). Many nieces, Nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters; Emily (the late Bob) Goncher, Martha Flahive and 2 brothers; Benny and Lenny. Family will be receiving guests Monday July 19, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home 50 Westwood Drive in Park Forest. Funeral services Tuesday July 20, 2021, 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Elwood, IL at 2pm.
