Obituary

Kathleen "Katie" Marie Fote Haraburda age 41 of Wilmette, formerly of Chicago and Olympia Fields, Illinois passed from this life suddenly on August 7, 2015. She was the devoted mother of Matthew (10), twins Jeremy and Molly (7) Haraburda, the beloved daughter of Mary Fote (Charles Winer) of Olympia Fields, Illinois, Charles Fote Sr. (Kaye Lynn) of Englewood, Colorado, a loving sister of Charles Fote, Jr. (Kristine) of Houston, Texas, Justin (Leah) Fote of Paxton, Nebraska, Kristi (Sean) Adams of Denver, Colorado, granddaughter of Bill Maune. She was also a beloved niece, cousin and aunt of the Maune, Fote, Bell and Mulderink families. Katie was a born leader and graduated with honors from Marian Catholic High School and the University of Illinois (Champaign /Urbana). She was a Marathon runner, a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst and Young, and a Licensed Real Estate Broker with Baird & Warner, and previously @Properties. She was also a volunteer youth soccer coach and manager as well as a regular contributor at her childrens schools. Visitation will be held at Lain Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Westwood Drive in Park Forest, IL From 3-8 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 and a Eucharistic Liturgy of the Resurrection at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 78 Cherry Street in Park Forest, IL at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Internment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Steger, IL following the funeral service.
