Laurice "Dick" Ray Dickerson, Army Veteran of WWII. Beloved Husband of Arta Mea Ellenwood; Loving Father of Barry (Vicki) Dickerson, Daryl (the late John) Devlin and Todd (Renee) Dickerson; Cherished Grandfather of Patrick (Meredith) Rossi, Landon Dickerson, Dominic Rossi, Kalena (Fianc Marc Chevalier) Dickerson, Brian ( Diana) LaVaque, Zachary and Brittany Dickerson, Melisa Devlin and Jessica Dickerson; Dearest Brother of the late Clarence and Russell ( the late Viola) Dickerson; Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired from Fluor Corp in Chicago after 35yrs of Service. Graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1940. Member of Park Forest American Legion and Steger V.F.W. , Member of Church of the Holy Family in Park Forest since 1953. Member of 11th Armor Division. Awarded the Bronze Star for Service in the U.S. Army. Visitation will be Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until the time of service 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Family 102 Marquette Street, Park Forest, IL 60466. Interment, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 promptly at 11:00 a.m. (Please arrive 15 minutes before) at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
