Linda was a loving affectionate and dedicated woman who was born on January 13, 1954 in mound Bayou Mississippi. She graduated from Bloom Township high school in Chicago Heights Illinois in 1972. She was married for 50 years to Arthurene Davis their union produced two daughters, Kimberly and Genese Davis. Linda departed this earthly life too soon on December 23, 2024. She was proceeding in death by her parents Alma Lee and Samuel Austin. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Linda put the needs and desires of others ahead of herself as she unselfishly supported anyone who crossed her path. Linda devoted much of her time and energy as a "home manager", taking care of her family and as a caregiver to her parents until they passed, Linda was also an excellent home daycare owner who provided care to many families with babies and young children over the years Linda leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Arthurene, daughters Kimberly and Genese; grandchildren Imanee, Deshawan, Chanell, De'Von and Alana. Linda has one great grandson Jaymani. Linda raised her three older grandchildren from birth therefore she was the only mother that they have known. Her siblings one brother Levon Austin, Sister's Barbara (Howard )Austin Washington and Clanese Austin. Linda will sincerely be missed by her immediate family members as well as numerous nieces, nephews cousins, extended family members and friends.
