Louis Joel Williams was born in Conway, Arkansas on February 1, 1937 to the parentage of Myrtie and Lydia Alberta Williams, both who preceded him in death. Louis was the middle child of three. Louis was born into eternity on Saturday, August 3, 2013. He was the Father of four children. His early years were spent in Conway, Arkansas; his birth place; and later in Southern Illinois. His family then migrated to Chicago. "Sonny" as he was fondly called was educated in the Chicago Public school system and graduated from Carver High School. In 1959 he entered the armed forces and served honorably for two years. At an early age he became a soldier in Gods army, he attended St. Albie Church regularly until failing health prevented him from doing so. Louis married Laurann Byron, and within this union they had three children. In 1982 Louis married Jane Rowe and within this union they had a daughter. In 1995 Louis retired from the State of Illinois, where he was a hospital administrator. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with family and watching his favorite TV shows. Fond and cherished memories now remain in the hearts of his wife, Jane Rowe and four children: Avery J. Williams (Candace) of Atlanta, GA, Patrice Williams of Los Angles, CA, Deanna Williams of Chicago, Illinois, and Nora Williams of Richton Park, Illinois; His brother Thayer James (Stephannie) of Matteson, and sister Joy Bridges of Chicago Heights.
