Borth- Louise nee Ames Age 89 years, resident of Olympia Fields, IL passed away May 25, 2017. She enjoyed a 65 year marriage with her husband Paul, who preceded her in death in 2014. Known for a sharp wit, active mind and instinctive creativity, she was an accomplished painter and celebrated home cook. She pursued lifelong interests In archaeology, art history, natural healing and reading. In her 40s she discovered the joys and challenges of canoeing and camping which led to rewarding new friendships. Early residents of Park Forest, Lou and Paul traveled the world. She is survived by a son Bill of Park Forest. Family and friends will gather Saturday, June 10, 2017 for a memorial visitation 10 a.m. until time of funeral service 11 a.m. at Grace United Protestant Church, 266 Somonauk, Park Forest, Illinois.
