Marcella T. Epstein, nee-Hughes, 80, Oct. 28, 2007, long time Park Forest resident of 54 years; beloved wife of Edward C. Epstein; loving mother of Carol (Alan) Chute of Cincinnati, Chuck (Sue) Epstein of Falsom, CA and Joann (Dale) Lindholm of Park Forest, cherished grandmother of seven and great grandmother of two, dear sister of Grace (Tom) Kelleher, fond sister-in-law of Walter (the late Marie) Swartz. Marcella was an executive secretary for Link-Belt Co. After raising three children, she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education, taught in Crete-Monee School District, Speed Educational, and St. Mary's Catholic School. She was the baker of Marcella's Cookies and Pretzels for Fresh Starts Restaurant. Memorial visitation, Friday, Nov. 2, at the Church of St. Mary, 227 Monee Road, Park Forest, from 2 p.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 3 p.m., Rev. James Schwab officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Church of St. Mary, appreciated.
