MARVIN LEE TURNER was born November 6,1979 to Emma Turner and Leslie Bridgewater. Marvin was reared in Harvey, Illinois and attended Harvey's Gwendolyn Brooks Junior High School. He received his high school diploma from Danville Area Community College in Danville, Illinois. Marvin confessed Christ at an early age at Bethlehem Temple Missionary Baptist Church. He had a curiosity about the Bible and turned to it when he faced obstacles. A positive man, if he could help you, he would. Marvin was an attentive son who kept in frequent contact with his mother and was a caring and loving father to his three children: Ke'Von, Markee, and Jewel. He enjoyed pulling a good prank, telling jokes, and watching movies. He was not an idle person. During his lifetime, he was employed at numerous establishments. Marvin leaves to cherish his memories: His three children; his devoted mother, Emma (Alan) Scott; his father, Leslie Bridgewater; his brother, Patrick Boone; two sisters, Vicki Campbell and Vonda Tillit; two grandsons, Kaden and Kison Turner; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
