Mary "Carol" Brzeszkiewicz, age 86, passed away on July 20, 2023, in Matteson, IL. Beloved wife of the late Jacob "Jack." Loving mother of Elaine (Jerry) Johnson, Gregory (Liz), Mark, Daniel (Kathy), Paul (Ann Marie), and the late Ann Marie. Cherished grandmother of Joshua (Amanda), Adam (Sarah), Alex, Chadd, Rachel, Kyle, Paige, McKayla (Carlos, fianc), Morgan, Raven (Pedro, fianc), Stephen, Jacob, and Mia. Proud great grandmother of Jonah and Aiyden. She was an active member of St. Lawrence OToole Catholic Church, where she participated in numerous events that aided the church and community. She was also known for her love of crafting, and it was common to see a project in progress next to her spot in the living room. She enjoyed traveling to Wisconsin and Arizona to visit her siblings. Her life will forever be remembered and cherished by her family and friends. A celebration of her life is scheduled for July 28th from 3 to 6 pm at Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Westwood Drive in Park Forest. For friends and family in Wisconsin, there will be a separate memorial in Milwaukee that is being planned for mid-August.
