Patricia Louise Miller, 91, of Matteson, IL passed away on April 18, 2025, in Chicago Heights, IL. Private visitation and funeral services only. Burial will be held at Skyline Cemetery on April 30, 2025. Patricia was born in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Dorothy Howe, on March 24, 1934. Patricia attended school in Chicago. Patricia married Harold Miller on July 31, 1953, in Chicago. Patricia was a homemaker to 5 wonderful children while supporting Harold through 20 years of service in the U.S. Army. Patricia was involved in Trinity Lutheran church for over 30 years, participating in Trinity's bell choir, assisting weekly services, and other activities organized by church members. What Patricia loved most in life was spending time with loved ones. Seeing grandchildren then great-grandchildren playing sports, school activities, vacations, holidays, playing bingo, card games, watching movies, and participating in quality family time. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Howe, her husband, Harold Miller, her brother, Joseph Howe, her son-in-law Brian A. Thompson, sister-in-law Edith Howe, daughter-in-law Mary Lou Miller, and her grandchild Natalie Miller. Patricia is survived by her sons, Curtis Miller and Joseph (Linda) Miller, daughters, Connie (Robert) Paulsen, Caren Thompson, Candance (Michael) Gayton, and brother, William Howe. Patricia has 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Curtis Miller, Joseph Miller, Robert Paulsen, Michael Gayton, Brian C. Thompson, and Michael Thompson. Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 392, Peotone, IL.
