Paul Edward Parent Sr., age 89 late of South Holland, IL passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 24, 2018. Paul was a photographer, and a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed traveling and was also a licensed pilot. Paul is survived by his daughters; Nancy Kempen, Suzanne Godwin-Harrington and Ann McRoberts, sons; Paul E. Parent Jr & Scott E. Parent, brother Ronald, grandchildren; Christina, Jennifer, Brian, Brandon, Stacy, Darcy, Leah, Carly, Patrick & Daniel, great-grandchildren Emily & Jonathan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (nee Ortegel), and his sister Norma Poucher. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hirsh West End Chapel, 3501 Lincoln Hwy, Matteson, IL, and his final resting place will be Homewood Memorial Gardens, 600 Ridge Rd, Homewood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials requested to the family for a charity of their choice.
