Peter Christopher Hogensen Age 54 A longtime resident of Park Forest, IL. Peter passed suddenly March18, 2014; Survived by sons Ryan Cassidy and Christopher Ross; brother Dennis, Patrick (Barbara), Thomas, Timothy (Elizabeth), sister Suzanne (Victor) nieces Louisa, Diana(John), Shelley, Rebecca (Joel), nephew Eric (Laura). Preceded in death by parents John E. and Marian J. nee Hagan. Dear Step-Son of Patricia Lazo-Hogensen, Step-Brother of James Bobek, Terri (David)Thomas and Charlotte (James) McClanahan , Cousin to Marianne (Ron) Scherdbring and Michael (Lori) Nash. Peter attended St. Agnes School, Bloom Township High, played football for TCC, baseball and UIC, and studied accountancy at GSU. A dedicated weight-lifter, Peter attended scores of concerts and White Sox games, was a Beatles fan of the first order, and good friend to Laura Okichich and Father Terry. Peter was a member of Knights of Columbus, an usher at St. Irenaeus Church and a volunteer at South Suburban PADS Shelter.
