Phyllis Ardell Tobeck, 91, of Richton Park, IL passed away on December 26th after a lengthy, fearless battle with heart failure and COPD. Phyllis was born on February 28th, 1930 to Nicholas and Lyda Schaefer in Homewood, IL. In the 1940s, she met Henry William Tobeck, and they wed in 1954, going on to have 6 children: Richard, Margorie, Susan, Phillip, Bruce, and David. Throughout her whole life, she spent her time always taking care of her family, selflessly. She really enjoyed pool time in the summers, family barbeques, and holidays. She loved playing cards, drinking wine, singing and dancing. No matter how old she got, she always kept it bubbly. Phyllis is predeceased by her parents, her husband, her son, Phillip, her brothers (George, Robert, Richard, Eugene), and her sisters (Carol, Marlene, Virginia, Margorie, Gale). She is survived by her brother, Erwin; her five children, Richard, Margorie, Susan, Bruce, and David; and her seven grandchildren, 14 great grand children, and seven great-great grandchildren.
