Salvatore "Sal" Lamannis age 77, of University Park, passed away peacefully August 17, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Josephine F. Lamannis. Loving father of Louis (Gina) and John (Maria) Lamannis. Cherished Grandfather of Alex Lamannis, Mallory (Drew) Schmidt, Erin and Alyssa Friedericks; Dearest brother-in-law of Frank (Jackie) Jr. and Jerry Granto; Dear Uncle to Gracie Sirianni -Critelli, Pia, Michael Critelli And Joe Rizzo; Kind Great-Nephew of Ann Basile and Lucy Marecki. Salvatore was a member of St. Marys Church in Park Forest and a Mechanical Engineer for Bliss & Laughlin in Harvey IL from 1960 to his Retirement in 2005.
