Shirley Lorraine Holland was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Surrounded by her loving family and friends, she peacefully transitioned to heaven on Saturday June 11, 2022 at the age of 86. While she will be dearly missed, her loved ones will carry on her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Shirley was brought into this world by her two loving parents, John and Lorraine Braico, in Chicago, IL. She married and raised four children in Chicago Heights, IL. She enjoyed spending time with family, talking with friends, and loved swimming. Shirley brought warmth and love to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her two children, Darlene Nicholas and Richard Helmick. Shirley is survived by her two children, Lorraine Helmick and Joseph Holland, as well as her two grandchildren, Dr. Stacie Freudenberg and Andrea Helmick.
