Stanley P. Petraitis age 87, passed away on August 25, 2014. Beloved husband to Constance Humecki; Loving Father to Janice Petraitis, Carol (Kreigh) Valkenaar, Mary Ellen (Dave) Reidel, Stanley (Carmela) Petraitis, and Keith (Beverly) Petraitis; Cherished Grandfather of 8 grandchildren; Dearest Great Grandfather of 6 great grandchildren. Stanley was a devout Roman Catholic and served in the U.S. Navy during WWll. He will be missed by many friends and family. Lying in state Friday 9:30 a.m. until time of mass 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church 17951 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL. Interment at St. Casimir Cemetery.
