Tonya Lockett was born on April 22, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois to Robert and Lillian Lockett who preceded her in death. Tonya was baptized and accepted Christ in her life on February 1, 2000. Tonya graduated from Thornton High School and received an Associate Degree in Business Management from Robert Morris College. Tonya Lockett would cook a soulful meal for anyone. Cooking was her love language. She loved her family and would do anything for them. Her devotion to family was admirable and unconditional. She was very supportive and kind but wouldnt take any mess from anybody! Tonya was lovely inside and out. You couldnt catch her without her hair and nails done. Tonya loved making you laugh and helping in any way possible. Tonya leaves to cherish her memory two children, Antonio Lockett Sr. and Jerome DeMarr (Yasmine) Brown; four siblings, Robert Lockett Jr, Yolanda Lockett, Adriena Wren and Tonia Beth; six grandchildren, Antoniya, Alonte, Antonio Jr, Ayden, Olivia and Elan and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
