William Klien,79 of Park Forest passed away Monday May 24, 2021 at Olympia Fields Hospital. He was born February 4, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of Chester and Grace (Earl) Klien. Bill proudly served in the United States Army where he was in the signal corps. He was employed as a Chemical Operator for 45 years; working for such companies as Nutrasweet, Takasago and IPPE where he was promoted to plant manager. He was Involved in the Boy Scouts of America for many years serving as Cub Scout leader and Scout Master. Bill enjoyed traveling, his beloved White Sox, making everyone laugh but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandy Klien, 3 sons, Stephen (Laura Zangori), Peter (Melisa) and Matthew (Holly). 7 grandchildren; Alison, Zachary, Elizabeth (Liam) Barthram, Jesse, Connor, Madison, Savanna and 1 sister, Mary (Norbert) Budz.
