Darrell C Daniels

Darrell C. Daniels was born on June 27, 1958 in Mobile, AL. to John and Mattie Daniels, Sr. He was the ninth child of ten children. Darrell was preceded in death by his father, John Sr.; mother, Mattie; and Brother John Jr.

Darrell moved to Chicago, IL. At an early age. He attended Gage Park High School and later enlisted in the United States Army where he served three years. While in the service, Darrell received the Humanitarian Service Medal as well as the Army Commendation Medal as a patrolman.

Darrell was a skilled carpenter and held many certifications. He earned an Associate’s degree from Coyne College for HVAC. Darrell was very compassionate and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He accepted Christ at an early age and had enough faith to believe that “for God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”

Darrell leaves his cherished memories to: his loving and devoted wife, Vanessa; his four children: Denisha, Natasha (Deonyata) both of Racine, WI., Darell and Sade both of Chicago, IL.; two step-sons: Deonte Sr. of Las Vegas, NV and Alex Sr. of Chicago, IL. ; eleven grandchildren: Nacari, Kayden, Kennedy, Xaylen, Legend, Deonte Jr.; Daniel, Ashley, Kailey, Alex Jr.; and Rilee; one aunt: Julia Portis; four sisters: Barbara Bolar- of Akron, OH, Elaine (Roy) Mitchell, Dannie (William) Atkins both of BayMinette, AL, Doris (LaSalle) Carr of Chicago, IL; four brothers Joseph Daniels, Sr. of BayMinnette, AL, Sterling Daniels, Sr. of Chicago, IL, Anthony Daniels (Tonya) of Mobile, AL, and Dontonio Daniels (Donna) of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
