Florence A. Catullo

Florence Catullo, age 99, resident of Village Woods in Crete, IL, formerly of Steger and Chicago Heights,IL and Naples, FL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Armand Catullo, her parents Joseph and Nellie Chudy, her sisters Irene Peters, Lillian Slomski, Adeline Flamini, Virginia Virgo and Bernice Rudy.  She is survived by her sisters Evelyn Fritzsche and Joan Genzler and her brother Richard Chudy.  Florence was a beloved aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews.

For many years, Florence worked at Kline’s Department Store and Conchetti Jewelers in Chicago Heights.  She loved spending time with her family and her friends at Village Woods.   She was an active participant in Mass and religious activities at Village Woods where she loved to make crafts, get a manicure, and have her hair done.  She was caring and loving to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all.
