Gerald A. Rodgers

Gerald A. Rodgers,  Army Air Corp Veteran of  WWII and retired Navy Pilot in Korean War;  Gerald passed away peacefully at his home in University Park, IL, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday March 3, 2018;  beloved husband of  Clara nee McKenzie Rodgers; loving father  of Lise Mae Rodgers, Ardella (Les) Alberts, John (Carol) Rodgers and the late Daniel Rodgers;

cherished grandfather of 7, proud great grandfather of 5;

dearest brother of Lydia (the late Gene) Gallup and the late Franklin, Kenneth, and Herbert Rodgers; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Family and friend will gather for a visitation Sunday, March 11th at 4:00p.m. until time of  Funeral Services 5:00 pm. at the Church of God 1801 Maple Rd. Joliet, IL. Interment will be held on Monday, March 12th  10:00 a.m. at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
