LaWanna Ruiz- Lifelong resident of Chicago Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 30, 2020 at her residence.  Beloved wife of the late Pedro T. Ruiz; loving mother of Ramiro Ruiz, Carmen D. (David) Del Toro, and Leilani J. Ruiz; cherished grandmother of Christina M. ( Nick) Case, Peter R. Ruiz, and David Del Toro Jr.; devoted daughter of the late Charles and Electra nee Johnson Harrison; dearest sister of LaRose, Charles (Mona Bernier), Myrtle, Thornton, John (Barbara) and Mark Harrison and the late Rexford Benjamin Harrison; dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews, kind friend to many. Services are private.
