Leotha Crawford

Leotha Crawford was the firstborn of two children of Wallace and Vera Crawford. Leo Crawford and Len Crawford (who preceded him) were both born in Koscsius, Mississippi. His family shortly moved to Chicago, Illinois. 

Leo attended John Marshall High School. 

Leo married Vivian in 1969. They had two children Mario and Yvette(who preceded him), and three grand-children, Giovanni, Charles Jr. and Gianni, and two great-grandchildren Giovanni Jr. and Kirie. 

Leo remarried twice Brenda Carter and his last wife Norvell Merrill.

Leo served his country and enlisted in the U.S Military in 1973 and was released from duty with honorable discharge. 

Leo attended and graduated from Chicago State University. 

Leo accepted the Lord and was baptized at Morgan Park Assembly Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park in Chicago, Illinois. 

He leaves to cherish his aunt Ruthmae Turner-Herman, Aunt Joyce, Uncle James McFadden, Flora Lee Turner, Niece(s) Kelly Boles, Angel Burton, Dana Burton, nephew(s) Eric Burton(Annette), Timothy Boles, Darren Burton other special family members Norvell Merrill, Debra Burton, Bruce Burton(preceded) Brenda Carter, Dan Burton(preceded), David Burton(preceded). A host of other family and friends.
