Mark D Douglas, Jr, was born on 10 Jan 1936, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Mark D Douglas, Sr, and Leta Marie Douglas (nee Edwards), the fourth of four children. The family moved to Mill Shoals, IL, then to Fairfield, IL, where Mark grew up.
After serving in the US Army as a young man, Mark then moved to the Chicago area and worked for Ford Motor Co until his retirement in 2001.
Mark married Theresa Thomson in 1964, and together they raised three children in Park Forest, IL. He was a dedicated family man who loved to cook. He passed away peacefully at home on 18 May 2023. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life." -John 5:28, 29.
Mark is survived by his wife Theresa (nee Thomson), his three children Diane Termini, Elaine (Kerry) Moltzan, and Marcus III (Sharon). He is also survived by three grandsons, Marcus IV, Jet Termini, Coe Termini, and Roman Termini.
