Monica E. Clayton, 93, of Park Forest, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Known as Peggy, she was born November 27, 1927 in Agra, India; daughter of Norman and Alice (Cox) Jones. She was employed as a secretary for school district No. 163 for over 20 years. An avid crossword puzzle solver, she also played the piano beginning lessons at the age of 4. Peggy enjoyed playing cards and belonged to several clubs including a bridge and a poker club. She was known as the Tea Time Nana, selling teapots and teacups at many flea markets and various community markets. Peggy and her husband Bill were dedicated Flea Market sellers for over 30 years. She just loved to socialize while spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Lynne, her son Clyde (Pam), three grandchildren, Monica (Ron) Marasco, Scott (Sue) Clayton and Jenna Clayton. Two great grandchildren, Kaylee Hallberg and Remington Marasco. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Bill, a brother Melville (Heather) and a great grandson Colt Marasco.
