Ruth Naomi Stege

Stege, Ruth N. (nee Seehausen) Age 87, long-time resident of Matteson, recently residing in Varna, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2022. Beloved wife of Arvin for 67 years; loving mother of Susan (William) Kennedy, the late Thomas (Diane) Stege, and Sandra (Mark) Isaac. Proud grandmother of Bill (Ashley) Kennedy, Katherine (Clint) Paraday, Andrew Stege, Tracey (Matt) Travis, Erik Kennedy, Brandon (Tracy) Isaac, Debra (Roderick) Quiambao, Kristin Kennedy, and Shannon Kennedy. Cherished great-grandmother to Cole Paraday, Thomas, Ethan, and Sophia Quiambao, Cody and Caleb Travis, Addison and Lillian Stege, and Bridget and Caitlin Isaac. Devoted daughter of the late Albert and Helen Seehausen. Dear sister to Rosemary (the late Arnold) Hesemann and the late Albert Seehausen. Beloved aunt to Theodore Hesemann, Judy Stock, and Janice Rusnak Arneson. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Elvert Stege. Ruth retired from Beverly Bank in Matteson as Vice-President of Operations and enjoyed bowling and singing in the choir. Visitation will be held on January 8th, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 4800 Sauk Trail, Richton Park, Illinois.
