Arta Mae Dickerson nee Ellenwood, resident of Olympia Fields, IL., formerly of Park Forest age 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Laurice “Dick”  Ray Dickerson; Loving mother of Barry (Vicki) Dickerson, Daryl (the late John) Devlin and Todd (Renee) Dickerson; Cherished Grandmother of Patrick (Fiancée Suzanne ) Rossi, Landon Dickerson, Dominic Rossi, Kalena (Marc) Chevalier, Brian (Diana) LaVaque, Zachary and Brittany (Fiancé PJ) Dickerson, Melisa Devlin and Jessica Dickerson; Proud great-grandmother of Jaxon and Leo; Dearest Sister of the late Jack and Don Ellenwood; kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Retired after 30yrs of service as the water aerobics instructor at Governor's State University, graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1940 and long time member of Church of the Holy Family in Park Forest.

Memorial visitation will be held Monday, June 5,2017  9:30 a.m. until the time of service 11:30 a.m. at Church of the Holy Family 102 Marquette Street, Park Forest, IL 60466.

Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
