Dolly , This is A Tribute To, Robert ( Bob ) Mikolajczyk ,For His Compassion, Concern and Treatment of the Homeless thru the S.S. PADS program. Expressing Sorrow on Bob's passing just does not seem to be enough. Just do not know anything else to say. Out side of Bob's trip to the Land of the Morning Calm. This is probably his longest venture without you. Knowing Bob, he is probably trying to find a place for the two of you to be together again. I believe that God will get you two together again. A place with access to a good short nine course, grassy fairways and easy to read greens. As you know many of us reallyt got to know, respect and love Bob with being with him at the St. Irenaeus PADS site. Thank you for sharing him with us. You only know too well that St. Irenaeus PADS called upon Bob many times that were above what was considered a normal shift or duties. Many people do not know how many times he was called late on a Thursday night to fill in on the Friday Morning shift. Always a pleasant I'll be there . A short nap and he would be there Friday morning from 2:00AM to 7:00 AM. Too keep busy there was the up too 140 eggs to hard boil. He would then help with the Breakfast and pass out the lunches. His pleasant morning greeting got the Guest off to a new day. After the clean up , including the toilets. and all thrash out. Then a possible soiled linen run to S.S. Hospital and the dropping off of some of the Guest that helped with the harder cleaning up. The timely donations of winter hats and gloves from the two of you were always welcomed. All of other co-site were glad that we were blessed with the likes of Bob. They were also saddened with the news of his passing. Robert as I called him when we were exchanging insults or complements in Polish. So to the both of you tonight, dobrej nocy I shu z aniolami , z powaz aniem,( Good Night and sleep with the Angels ), Sincerely, Former Co-Site Mgr. @ St. I. PADS

"Bob and Dolly" I always said those words together because that is how I experienced your love. Thank you, Bob, for all you have been, my godfather, my supporter during these many years. I remember your letters that I received while I was away. I remember your surprise phone calls. I will miss you very much, but I know that you are enjoying the peace of the Lord and our Polish relatives. Can't wait to see you again. Love, Nancy

Dear Bob, you were always so special to me as my godfather. With great pride I would tell people about you. I will miss you but I know that you are at peace. Now you know the Lord as you are known by Him. Don't worry about Dolly. We will take good care of her. Until I see you again. Love, Nancy
